I want EG 4.1 file to open in 4.1 only when i double click it and 4.2 file to open in 4.2 only ?
Is it possible?
I suspect not as EG projects have a single extension of EGP which can only be associated with one version of EG at a time.
What is the reason why you would not use the latest version of EG you have for all EG projects?

First of all thank you.
I was facing an issue regarding opening .egp files. They were opening in EG 4.1 by default.
I made changes in windows registry then i was able to open it in 4.2.
So i was wondering, if i want to open it back in 4.1 i will need to make changes again.
Hence i thought if there could be any solution regarding opening the .egp files in their respective versions.
Thank u again.
You should be able to use the OPEN WITH , right click on the file and bring up the context menu and select open with. It may already show both versions of EG. If not, select the "choose default program" option and select the application. If you don't want to change the actual default then uncheck that box in the window. You may need to select "other programs" to find the one you want.
After you have done this then next file you open should show a menu with both versions of EG as options to open the file. Just get in the habit of right click and "open with".
