I am working in SAS Enterprise Guide, and all of the sudden, if I try to execute any code, I get a prompt "Would you like to replace the previous results?"
Not sure why this started, but does anyone know how to turn it off?
It's not a new prompt (been around since at least version 3), but it is a conditional prompt. It occurs when you run a single task or code node, but does not occur when you "Run branch". I don't think that you can turn it off (at least not through the tools menu).
Thanks. This is strange. I usually run code by right clicking a selection and choosing Run Selection On SAS Main, and it never gave me this prompt before, but now it does.
You can turn off this prompting in Tools->Options.
Choose Tools->Options from the main menu bar. The Options dialog box appears.
In the Results General section, under Managing Results, select "Replace without prompting" for the Replace Results option.
This enables you to rerun SAS tasks and programs without being prompted about whether you want to replace the last report created. The default value is "Prompt before replacing".
