We have some users who are now being moved to MDS from using local repositories. Is there an easy way of getting their previous projects to run?

The data being accessed is still in the same area but the server name has changed, the process flows are quite large.

We're using EG3

Ted,

Try using EGPMover.exe in C:\Program Files\SAS\Enterprise Guide 3.0. It can be used to reassign new servers to nodes in existing project files.

Thanks Phil, I didn't even know that existed. It works great.

Ted,

For when you move to EG4, I've now found the same functionality in EG4:
(1) Open the project in EG4.
(2) Click on Tools > Replace SAS Server...
(3) Highlight the server(s) you want to replace in the SAS Execution Servers, or OLAP Servers, list and click the Replace button under that list.
(4) Choose the correct server from the list and click the Replace button.

It does the same as the EG3 program, but is called from inside EG4.
