I have been trying SAS EG 8.2 and I do not like having the log and other windows in my workplace. Does anyone know to convert them to tabs like they were in EG 7?

No, the new layout provides programs in tabs with the log and output underneath each tab. If you prefer the EG7 layout you would need to revert to that. Personally I think the new layout is way better.

Not sure what you actually mean, but my eg 8 looks like this:

The yellow-highlighted texts are tabs.
