Is it possible to change the arrangement of panes within Enterprise Guide?

EG 8.3

A minor thing: I've been trying to work out if there is a way to change the default arrangement of panes within EG. Specifically, I'd like the code, log, output and results panes for a program to be tabs. By default it is like this:

I can change it to this, but the arrangement isn't retained between sessions:

Anyone know if it's possible? I've not managed to find anything in the documentation.

Have a look at this paper. https://support.sas.com/resources/papers/proceedings19/3355-2019.pdf
Should work in 8.3 as well.
