Introduce a record with previous values.

I am creating a report showing Account balances for every fiscal period. I need some suggestions ......if there is no activity in a month, the report should display the previous balance in missing period.
for example:

Fiscal period account curr Balance prev balance
00 1031 $-12,705,140.15 $-12,299,868.93
03 1031 $-12,699,404.32 $ 0.00

I would like to add fiscal period 01 and 02 and show the balances as $-12705,140.15 $-12,299,868.93

Please help.

I got help from SAS Tech support. I was able to resolve the issue.
