We have a very large amount of SAS projects that are scheduled in Windows task scheduler.

Each project has one process flow.

We are currently migrating from SAS EG 6.1 to 7.1 and are facing an inconsistency.

If we run from within EG, everything works fine but when the process flow is launched from the scheduler followed by the VBS, the order of execution gets screwed-up, and the execution fails. Smiley Sad

Note. With version 6.1 it was consistent e.g. same order in EG and from scheduler.

To solve this issue, we could use ordered lists but it is not only a lot of work but also truly error prone!

Your help would be appreciated on this issue

Hi @Lucy-Anne,

I confirmed that this is a bug in EG 7.11 that was fixed in 7.12 HF2 and 7.13.  Sorry for the inconvenience it is causing.

If you are currently migrating from EG 6.1 to 7.1, I highly recommend upgrading your EG clients to the latest EG 7.1x version (7.15) rather than 7.11, so you can get the latest features and fixes (including this one).

What is your exact EG version (displayed in Help->About)?  The first thing I would check is to make sure you have the most recent hot fix for your version.  I know there was a similar bug that was fixed.
