Is it possible to import into SAS EG a SAS log from another SAS platform?

My SAS EG process received an error 3 quarters of the way through because of sort work space.

To get around this, I had to submit the remaining steps via a batch platform, which has more sort work space.

Now, I'd like to import the batch log to have a permanent record in the SAS EG project.

If, in addition to that, SAS EG could figure out from that log which files were created in libraries it has access to, that would be a plus.

Thanks.

A SAS log is simply a text file. You could copy or read a SAS log into an EG program window for viewing but that is about it.

It would make more sense to convert your EG project completely to a batch job, then arrange for you to have access to a file share where all of the batch job logs are kept. and just view the entire log file of each run in the text viewer of your choice.

Thanks.

That's what I'll do to implement in production.
