Import Text Files

Hi folks,

Im importing a text file and the colum DESCRIPTION that have a space before a description is suppressed when I import.

EX BEFORE: | description column|
EX AFTER : |description column|

I need help!!!

I think we need more information about how you are importing this. Are you using the Import Task in Enterprise Guide, importing as Fixed Width text file?

Hi Chris,

In this case we need change the format to $CHAR. When I import the file without this format the space before is ignored but when I imported the file with this format this not happens.
