Hi,

where is it that I could turn the auto save feature off in SAS 8.1?

It always decides to save something while im working on the file and doesnt allow to do anything else while its doing it. Last time it took 15 minutes to auto save. That is three times today so far (not the end f the day yet) and thats around 50 min wasted just on waiting, which will have to be compensated from my personal time....

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Sas_user987 ,

would it be these what you are looking for?

https://documentation.sas.com/?docsetId=egug&docsetTarget=p0dj68mpt6w3epn1u8sb9rdqmmjm.htm&docsetVer...

In addition, I wonder a few things: if you have got the latest hotfixes/updates, and how big is that project and why. Perhaps you would like to apply some maintenance: https://communities.sas.com/t5/SAS-Enterprise-Guide/SAS-EG-7-1-project-file-too-big/td-p/215781

I hope it helps.

Best regards,

Juan

Not a big one, indeed.

I hope your admins/helpdesk can get it resolved soon.

At least those wait times shouldn't bother you anymore until then.
