Hi guys,

this is my first entry so sorry if I am not following an standard post writing guidelines since I simply do not know them.

Maybe this is a naive question but is there any way how I can show the full query builder or data set name in the process flow? The reason why I ask is that in bigger Enterprise Guide projects this would help to understand what each step does in the project without modifying/opening the query builder or the data set when you want to see the result.

e.g:

Instead of displaying here "PN_Unific..." I would like to display the whole text of the name! In terms of system info I am working on a laptop running Windows XP Professional SP3 and using SAS EG 4.3 Hotfix 14

Thanks for your time and your help,

Christian

This is not the first time this issue has come up. You can mouse over or click on the process flow object to get a more complete description but obviously you can only do this one at a time. BTW EG 5.1 has the same behaviour.

You can enhance the Project Tree to show more details under Tools - Options - Project Views and that can be quite helpful.

Hi SASKiwi,

thanks a lot for the fast and helpful reply, much appreciated!!!

Sorry also if I have reposted a question which has been already answered before, it seems my topic search missed that.

Thanks,

Christian

That's great! BTW the reason I said that the issue had come up before was not to point out that you hadn't found it, but to highlight the fact that it had been a source of frustration for other users too. Happy EG development.....
