Hi,

I need to import latest updated file in SAS EG.

 

Actual file name:

exel28062017_060000

exel28062017_050000

exel28062017_070000

 

Required to import file from the folder

exel28062017_070000

 

Please help

Select the right file when you choose import??

 

A lack of information is not a good way of getting an answer.  

If you need to check a file list, then do you have x command access?  If you do then this should help:

http://support.sas.com/kb/45/805.html

Get a directory listing, identify the filename you want logically, then use that as the filename.

 

If you don't then DOPEN and process that way:

sorry for the misscommunication RW9. i have a hourly based  list of

excel files(

exel28062017_060000.XLSX

exel28062017_050000.XLSX

exel28062017_070000.XLSX) in a folder ,which is located in server .

 

i would like to pick and import most recent (exel28062017_070000.XLSX) file .

Kindly help me on importing the recent excel file.
