Is there a way in SAS where we can get the SAS usage?
No of users logged in today
No of reports used?
I would like to have a web report made using these data
I understand you can request from Tech support (for Free) but always best to check with SAS.
We implemented it and there are some sample reports, however we generally do some ad-hocs against the datasets to query what we want - with that said out of the box is a good start
You could do it all yourself as it is all SAS code but why re-invent the wheel, install APM and use/modify what you need. I haven't looked at 9.4 and whta is avaliable though someone else may be able to answer that.

Hi
Have you looked at the SAS APM suite?

Thanks Barry. Does APM suite require additional cost/license

Hashim,
The APM suite is something to be added on to the BI/DI server with a SAS metadata-server involved. With that there are a lot of services also a log-server. It is the platform-admin role (human being) from architecting build to operations that could tell you a lot.
APM by it self is free, but it is more a sample of a lot coding how to do it requiring paramterisering/scripting to be added.
You will have to implement it in the same way as the projects of SAS users.
Gathering the data, set up the requirements for reports, developping reports, planning operational processes etc.
Having that: it will be using SAS for -> analyzing SAS usage. Perhaps using web-report studio to publish reports.
