I work for a company that uses both SAS EG (currently have v5.1 installed) as well as the AMO for Excel 2013 and have been attempting to run one of our regular, stored, processes. When I run it from the Microsoft Add-On (the AMO) the process runs successfully, however, when I do the same in EG I get an error that says "Error creating window handle."

Due to Excels size constraints, I would prefer to run my (regular) process in EG and am hoping for any info that anybody can provide on what might be causing this problem (why I can run it from Excel, but not EG) and how I can go about resolving this issue/error in EG.

Appreciate your feedback!

According to SAS Tech Support - this is a common issue with SAS 5.1. For those of you scratching your head with this issue as well - All you have to do is apply the hot fixes to make this error message go away. I've included it's link, below, as an FYI:
