How to convert prompt value to uppercase in Information Map Studio 4.2?

I read a note in the sas support knowledge base (62095) titled "Special Considerations for customers upgrading to SAS(R) 9.2" that states:

"SAS Information Map Studio 4.2 cannot automatically convert prompt values to uppercase before a query is run."   I have the need to do this conversion in my map.  Can anyone tell me a work around or how can I accomplish this in my map?
