In a figure, y-axis values are very large (around 120000). So the value takes some space to present. Without making the numbers font size smaller, is there any way to increase the space between y-axis lable and y-axis values, so the values do not across the y-axis line?

Look for x axis offset options. A positive value should move the start of the x axis to the right and bring the associated y axis with it.

You might also be able to achieve you goal by changing the physical size of the graph, with more space available things might display better.
