Hi All,
I am New to SAS Programming. Can we create an OLAP Cube using sas programming code in SAS 9.1? if it is so..plss lemme know how to do tht?..
and also can we create an information map 3.1 using SAS 9.1 programming code?if so plss lemme know??...

There are 2 SAS clients for these tasks (which need a license):
SAS/OLAP Studio and SAS/Information Map Studio.

The necessary components are not part of Base SAS (i.e. you would also need a OLAP Server).

Hi.

To answer your questions, yes it is possible to do both - create a cube and Information map with SAS Code, you'll need OLAP licenced to buld cube.... To hard to go into to details here but research Proc OLAP for the cube building...

But as stated by Patrick, easier to use the tools...

You can use PROC OLAP to build cube and PROC INFORMAPS to build information map. However, PROC INFORMAPS is specific for SAS 9.2.
For more information, please read 9.2 online doc.
