How do I add a custom toolbar button in SAS EG 4.3?

I used to have a couple of toolbar buttons in SAS EG 4.1  which I created by right-clicking the toolbar and selecting 'customize'. Is there a way to do this in 4.3? The reason in particular is that I used to have a button to 'Run selection' for small code snippets as I was developing them, and it's irritating to have to navigate to do that via a drop-down menu. Is there a way to add a custom toolbar button to run a code selection in 4.3? What about making a keyboard shortcut to do this (e.g. "Alt + Shift + R" or something like that, just as a suggestion)?

This issue is high on my wish-list also. I'm using EG 5.1 and it doesn't appear you can customise the toolbar in that version either (would love to be corrected).

The only workaround I have found is you can select your code with the mouse and use the F8 (SUBMIT) key.

In DMS if you highlight some code, then a selective run/submit is the default action on the toolbar RUN icon.

Why SAS has not maintained this compatibility in EG, from DMS I would love to know...Of course if you only know EG then it is not an issue, but for many of us who move between DMS and EG it is .

Thanks - You've actually made an interesting point: the F8 key does, in fact, seem to run only selected code, but I wasn't aware of this because on the 'Program' menu, the F8 key appears next to the 'Run' menu item and not the 'Run selection' menu item. So the F8 key is fine for my purposes, but I didn't realise due to the misleading menu interface in EG 4.3.
