I'd suggest getting a copy of PC SAS and several good books (e.g. SAS for dummies). You can work on coding in SAS on your local PC, and also acquaint yourself with the various concepts that SAS revolves around. But there are a thousand and one things that can be learnt by aspiring developers, so why SAS?

Hi, I'm new at SAS also. I started using it in College, but code was given. I started with SAS for Dummies, The little SAS book and the Little SAS book for Enterprise Guide. These have been a great help in getting me started in Enterprise Guide. Now I need to learn more so I can set up on going processes. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

Linda,

There are several excellent web-based courses on the SAS support site. Many cover Enterprise Guide and others cover more general programming topics.
