Hi Team,
I hope every one is doing good.
I would like to have your help on the error message " Unable to get SAS Code. Unable to open Input data".
What would be the reason for this error and I am wondering the same EG program has been running perfectly with out any error for the last one year. But what I don't understand is why it has become an issue now since there no changes has been made.
Please let me know is it related to SAS environment problem.
Thanks in advance.
Kannan B.
Usually this happens when a library doesn't get assigned correctly, or a table that your program expects goes missing for some reason. The tasks that depend on the data can't do their work, because they cannot access the data.

Sounds like your project has some objects that are not available at the moment.
Can be a lot of causes - work tables that haven't been created, librefs that haven't been assigned etc.
If you can't resolve, plz describe in more detail what you are doing.

Hi,
In additon to above comments this may be helpful in fixing the problem.

I had this error in SAS EG that stated "Unable to get SAS code. Input data for task is not available. Error opening data ... (error) file work.[filename] does not exist.
I resolved this issue by logging off EG, started EG, opened the project, ran it and it worked without issues.
I too get this error periodically, for what appears to be no rhyme or reason. Re-running the Enterprise Guide resolves the problem. I assume it to be a delay in network access, but have not been about to troubleshoot it to determine the exact reason.
