Is there a wizard or a user interface component that encompasses the functionality found in the filename statement to enable a user to specify files on remote servers (think web server) that can then be run through the data import wizard and thus surfaced in a project? I am setting up a project for a user who is adverse to anything that even looks like code and wanted to know if such a component, task or workflow existed.

Many Thanks,

jdm

There isn't such a thing in the EG interface right now.

You can use EG to open the file system of the remote SAS server you might be connected to, but there isn't a wizard to connect you to the various FILENAME access methods such as FTP, URL, etc.
