Hi,

I am trying to export an XLS file in a program contained in an EG project. The export works fine

. However, when I attempt to open it in Excel 2013, the file is in protected mode. Is there any statement in the PROC EXPORT function that will export a file unprotected? Or is this something that has to been done in Excel after the export. Also, it appears our 'Trusted Locations" cannot be altered in Excel on our network.

Thanks in advance.

No, this is an Excel/Office issue, nothing that can be done from the file.  M$ choose to go down the route of any file being opened, which is not on the trusted list, gets opened in Protected mode.  The only way to change this is via the Office options on your network.

What is Protected View?
