I have created an STP in EG, with dynamic prompts and dependencies.

So, when I choose a value from the firts prompt, the next prompt is populated with values.

However, I don't want all the values to be available in the second prompt. Is there some way to exclude values from being shown?

Creating a prompt data set separate from your STP data source is a good way to control your prompt values...where are you getting your prompt values?...your dynamic data values

I get the prompt values from one of the tables in the database.

I don't have access rights to create new tables and place them in the public areas of the database. Is there another way?

Sorry, that functionality does not exist in the prompt creation process...all you get is, essentially, a where statement in your dependency choice.
Since prompt data sources must be registered, there is no way to make the prompt source conform without a permanent data set.
