Hi everyone,

We have an Excel file that contains 90.000 rows when we import the file in SAS EG 5.1 we only have 2.175.

How can we solve this problem?

Thank you,

David

There are lots of possible reasons for this, as well as EG having multiple different ways to import Excel.  Some things to look at:

  • The generated SAS code and log -- it may provide a clue.
  • Did you specify a range?
  • Look at row 2175 in the data.  Is there an embedded CTRL-Z after the last field that came in? (you may need a hex editor to see it)

We might be able to help more with a copy of the log and screen shots from the import wizard.

Thanks a lot!

I checked the log and it had reached the _ERROR_-limit!
