Hi All

I'm running EG 4.1 that connects to a Windows 2003 box with SAS 9.1.3 on it.
A few times a week I get this error message when either opening or trying to save a SAS program file. My entire EG session quits and closes. Does anyone know why this is happening or have this issue pop up?
Thanks

Are you using tools --> options --> Data General --> "Use data tables in unprotected (Read/Write) mode." ?

If so, it is best if this option is not checked.
Also, if it has to be, then all EG sessions that use a particular table must be "down" to insure they don't have ahold of any tables.

Darryl,

You should contact tech support with this issue. Also make sure you have the latest hotfixes.

The issue you are seeing is related to opening/editing a file from a remote server. We've fixed issues like this in hotfixes; if you have the latest hotfix and still experience the problem, then we need a support track to help us investigate.
