Enterprise Guide Auto Recovery? Designated Folder is Empty!

I was working in Enterprise Guide this morning and (stupidly) closed it without saving.  I have auto save set to every 10 minutes.  However, I went out to the auto recovery folder where I have EG set to save, and there is nothing.  Does this only work if EG crashes??

It should save every 10 min. Crash not needed.

My assumption is that if you close EG normally, EG assumes you've saved everything you need so it clears earlier versions out of Auto Recovery.

You only get prompted to recover files if EG closes abnormally.

Thanks for the help everyone.  I was hoping it would auto save regardless but it doesn't appear so.
