What's new with EGuide 4.21? Should we be hounding our site rep to get it?

I couldn't find anything on support.sas.com except the installation instructions and the hotfix.

This is the first I had heard of EG 4.21... so I did a little investigation. Based on the following, it looks like there are four problems that are dealt with. The only one that looks semi-major is that projects created in 4.1 were apparently not maintaining the grouping in Query Tasks when opened in 4.2.

So, doesn't seem like it'd be a bad idea to download the hotfix. I'll probably check with other SAS folks and do it sometime this week. Thanks for the scoop on the new release!

Richard,

That link is for a hotfix FOR 4.21, not the upgrade itself. There is a similar hotfix for 4.3 (A20001). So I still don't know what 4.21 does that is new.

Per Tech support: EG 4.21 is the current shipping release of EG. The only difference between 4.2 and 4.21 are localization/language updates (4.21 has additional language support not available in 4.2). --Doc
