I just ran an EG project and I get the message "Cannot show project log warning dialog" about 7 times.

The project only contains some libname statements that are referenced by 10 Query Builder tasks in the rest of the project.

What does this message mean?

Thanks!

Jerry

You're welcome, @jblack38.

Just clear the project log (or allocate more space), and the message should go a way.

Hi, @jblack38,

That's a minor bug in SAS Enterprise Guide.  I see that a lot.  I'm using Enterprise Guide 8.2 update 1, 32 bit.  I'm sure @ChrisHemedinger is aware of it.

Here's what's happening:

1.  The project log gets full.

2.  SAS tries to tell you the project log is full but for whatever reason cannot (this is the bug).

3.  SAS displays an error message that it can't display the message.

Corrective action:

Clear the project log (or increase it's size limit).

Hi - I've been upgraded to SAS EG 9.4 and I now cant see the Project log anymore. Any chance anyone knows how to view it?

If you click the 3 vertical dots in the project pane, then select Properties, you will find the Project log:

Sorry, I misread your question. This icon in the project pane is for the project log:
