That particular message happens (sometimes) when you open a code stored on the server when the server session has not yet been established.

Start the workspace server session by clicking on the "+" in the server list, and once the connection is established (Libraries and Home show up), load or submit code.

If the workspace server session that EG is trying to start can't do so because WORK cannot be created, have your SAS administrator look into this:

  • does your user have the necessary WRITE permission in the location configured for WORK?
  • is there a space issue (disk full, or individual quota of the user exceeded)?

space is ok,WRITE permission is ok.

error message:Object reference not set to an instance of an object
