I have an output table that has Company Codes (Rows) and data (Currency) in a column.

I want to be able to show in the Summary Report the Currency column in Descending or Ascending order without using re-coding as an option.

Any ideas?

So you want the data ordered by the counts? Eg, top dollar groups first or last?

I think you can go to the code, preview code and modify the code. Add ORDER=FREQ  the proc tabulate line.

I don't see an option to do that in EG 4.3, perhaps that's changed in later versions though.

Unfortunately that controls the Class levels, not based on the data values in the report.

For example with Cars and descending option on make (analysis variable= mpg(city))

Which task are you using to create the report?
