Disable User's ability to modify certain options

Hi,

We have deployed Enterprise Guide on Citrix machine. Currently the users are given EG Programming capability that allows them to modify only certain options from within Enterprise Guide. This prevents the ability of the users to select various report outputs like HTML, PDF, etc. How can I customized EGOptions.xml file and deploy it on a Citrix server?

As a user, I also realized that the Option screen comes up in a ready only mode.

Hi

As I understand this EGOptions.xml contains the current option settings per user (per logon id). More info here: http://support.sas.com/kb/32/582.html

The capability what a EG user can do and see is set in SAS Metadata via roles assigned to groups/users. You can alter these roles or create new ones if the standard roles don't give you what you want. I believe this is the place where you would have to tweak the system.
