Hello experts,

 

I want to delete specific excel files from a folder on the network using a sas code. How can I achevie that?

a) what keeps you from doing it with operating system tools (shell script)?

b) to do it from SAS, you either need to be able to use external commands (which is prohibited by the default configuration of the workspace server), or you can use the fdelete function.

c) to get filenames for a directory, also use external commands (preferrably with the filename pipe), or try what is described here
