I am unable to transfer the data set from one application server to another application server

please help me how to transfer the  data set

If we're talking about using SAS Enterprise Guide as a conduit between two servers, you can use the Data->Download Data Set task followed by the Data->Upload Data Set task.  That gets the job done, but isn't necessarily as efficient as a direct SAS-to-SAS connection (using SAS/CONNECT and PROC UPLOAD or DOWNLOAD).

Does "Download Data" need a local SAS installed? Just asking because more and more sites don't install it anymore.

If no local SAS is needed: How does this work if the 2 remote servers have a different OS?
