I have a question regarding the creation of work data tables using Query Builder and EG. I created a work data table with one query, then using a second query I create a second work data table. Both are created using Query Builder with Enterprise Guide. When the second query executes it deletes the first work data table. However, when I change the data table to data views the data views are not deleted.

It’s by understanding execution of a 2nd query shouldn’t delete previously created work data tables.

You're correct -- the second query should not delete the output from the first, unless the second query uses the same output name/location. That typically would not happen by default, but you should check the output data option in each of your Query Builder cases to make sure they are different from each other.

Chris thanks for the reply. The very 1st thing I did was to change the output destination name in the 2nd query. When I noticed the issue I doubled checked the output destination names and they are indeed differenct.
