Hello All,

I want some clear picture on my question if smone can provide please. We are seeting up new DBs and all libraries. This is issue is regarding new SQL SERVER DB CONNECTION from local SAS SERVER.

I have created one library through SAS MC and lib properties is as follow. Now i want to cerate a sql db server conenction for SAS EG users in SAS MC so they can pull up inforamtion from SQL DB Server. When i try to create new conenction profile through SAS MC (9.3), after all credentials error msg comming up is:

The communication channel with the peer closed unexpectedly.

An exception was thrown while receiving the requirements status from the peer.

I can see following library in SAS EG 5.1 but wants to know how can I see those tables which are under that SQL server which i a, trying to connect through SAS MC and  I think I must have to create connection profile in SAS EG to see those tables which are there under that SQL DB server, if so please let me know required steps for same.

Property of library (Claim_ODS)that I have created under SAS MC (under server).

Library is pre-assigned.

Name: CLM_ODS

Selected server: SASAPP

Libref: CLM_ODS

Engine: ODBC

Server detail: STADB1350

Connection:STADB1350

Extended Attributes: AssignMode/2/metaout=data

Please Guide.

Thanks,

Sandip.
