Hi all,
This is quite an unusual question. I want to create a sas dataset which will have the subject line of all the threads in the SAS Enterprise Guide discussion forum.

1> Is it possible.
2> Any sample code or sugi paper

Regards,

Amit

Interesting! But I'm not sure you can do it.

You can get the data from the RSS feed (XML):

http://support.sas.com/forums/rss/rssmessages.jspa?forumID=10

But that shows just 10 threads, the thousands that exist.

As a SAS insider, I might be able to do this from behind the firewall. Can I ask what you're after?

Hi Chris,
Thanks for the reply.
I am trying to learn how to get data out of websites where following things are involved:

1> Needs user id and password
2> Needs navigation to the page
3> Download data / extract data from table

For eg my yahoo mail account, my bank transaction etc.

I find SAS very convinient hence want to use it.

Regards,

Amit
