All,

I have 10 columns in an audit table and one of this files has 3 pieces of description data that is seperated by semicolons. I need to break out the entire table into 12 columns. Being a very novice SAS EG User I am stuck.

Any help, ideas would be appreciated.

Many thanks

Matt C.

You could use the filter and query task, and there define three new calculated columns, using the scan function (documentation for syntax).

That did the trick. Many thanks.
