Hi All,

Appreciate your advice, anyway for me to change the Output Name in Enterprise Guide's Query Builder without affecting & breaking the next query builder link.

I would like to change the output data format from Work. Table 1 to SASUSER.Table 1

Thanks in advance!

Have a good day.

Once you've changed the name of the output table: Run the node so the table with the new name gets physically created. This will break your flow in the canvas.

Then right click on the query builder node which needs to use the new table as input and chose "modify query builder". Then select the table with the new name. This will connect your node to the new input table and things will be fine again.

Hi Patrick,

Great thanks for your advice.

I have tried your solution; however, it prompt any error of "......not valid for use with the current settings of this query".

Do you have any idea, what should i do next ?

@SASnewbie2

I've actually tried first before I've proposed the approach and it worked for my simple sample flow.

I'm not sure what's causing issue for you and I can only guess. Make sure that the new source table you want to link contains exactly the same columns than the old one; else I'd expect EG to throw an error.
