Seems like a simple function, but I can't seem to cancel or stop a Find (ctrl-F) on a table in the EG. It's not a large table (350k obs) and I'm searching in one column. However after 30 minutes of waiting I need to get on with my day. I can't kill the EG process as a WORK table of 89 million obvservations would need to recreated taking several hours.

It's a tough lesson to learn, but if there is no interupt or cancel I will NEVER use CTRL-F again!

It's not intuitive, but you should be able to click the "X" in the upper left corner to close the Find window and abandon the search.

Thanks Chris, I'll try to remember this if I get caught in that situation again.
