Hi

I am trying to generate .csv file from sas data set with " as text delimiter and , as delimite

but for date it is taking as charater and inserting date as "15/03/2012" i need the date format as numeric

and some numeric colulmns i want as character ie "63586900"

i want output in this way

"63586900",15/03/2012,"4568012145","Kumar"

is this possible..........?

Hi:

  Are you asking if this is possible using EG tasks and wizards? This question was already asked and answered in a different forum showing how you would accomplish the request using code. I believe that EG tasks and wizards would not do what you want "out of the box" and you would need to write code to do your task. Possible code choices are posted here:
