Hi,

I am working on SAS 9.04 SPDS platform. When i run the query in SAS EG which extract data from SQL server table below are the time statistics given in the log :

NOTE: PROCEDURE SQL used (Total process time):

      real time           3:03.14

      cpu time            1.97 seconds

Please let me know, the CPU time mentioned here of 1.97 seconds, does it include the actual CPU time of SQL server + SAS Server?

The CPU cost of the query at the SQL Server side is not included here, only your SAS session. This note indicates that it took 3 mins (elapsed time) for SQL Server to execute the query, and a couple of seconds of CPU time for SAS to write the data back.
