Hi,
please help me to understande below piece of code.
1. proc datasets lib = out nolist;
delete &PgmPrefix._Table1_new;
delete &PgmPrefix._Table2_new;
Run;
2.create table &PassThroughTableName. AS
select * from CONNECTION to SQLServerDatabase
Thank You
The first segment deletes datasets from library "out". The macro variable "pgmprefix" holds the prefix for the dataset names.
The second is obviously part of a proc sql; it creates a SAS table from a connection to an external RDBMS (the necessary specifics for the remote table are missing).
Good news: We've extended SAS Hackathon registration until Sept. 12, so you still have time to be part of our biggest event yet – our five-year anniversary!
