I use Enterprise Guide for writing and running SAS programs. I create lots of data sets from my programs and many times they are in the Work library. After I run my code the new data sets do not show up in the Servers pane: Servers->SASApp->Libraries->Work (or other library). I have to manually click refresh in that window. Is there an option I can change to make the new data sets show up under the library when they are created by my code?
At least up to EG 6.1, there is no such option.
Refreshing the contents of libraries is a rather time-consuming action, so I guess this is the reason why EG does not do it automatically and why there is no such option.
