Hi People,

I am trying to assign this library permanently in SAS Eguide with the ref given below

LIBNAME basedata sasspds "M_A_C30_PI_GIO" server=&spdshost..5090 user="&uid." passwd="&pw." group='production' ;

I went through Tools > Assign Library > Library Wizard, came up with this error:
ERROR: ERROR: LIBNAME path info not found in SPD Name Server..
ERROR: Error in the LIBNAME statement.

Is there any notes around that help me out to assign this library correctly?

Cheers,
Yennie

Hi:
This is the LIBNAME example from page 23 of the User's Guide:
http://support.sas.com/documentation/onlinedoc/spds/user45.pdf
[pre]
libname mydatalib sasspds 'mydomain'
host='namesvrID'
serv='5555'
user='neraksr'
passwd='siuya';
[/pre]

...where it appears that all the option values are quoted strings.
