Apply hotfixes

Hi everyone!

I want to apply a hotfix in SAS Lineage MidTier. According to "SAS Deployment Wizard and SAS Deployment Manager 9.4: User:s Guide" documentation, it refers that I should back up my installation before applying the hot fixes.

Do you think is it enough to backup the installation of SAS Lineage MidTier or should I take into consideration for further backups?

Its a lot easier to backup your complete SAS mid-tier installation folder than to pick and choose which folders. BTW this type of question should be posted in the Administration and Deployment Community, not Enterprise Guide.

Installation means the entire installation and not a specific folder.
