I'm using Enterprise Guide 5.1 and I was wondering if there was a way to add locations to the defaults of Desktop, My Documents, My Computer, My Network Places, and Servers?

I mean something that would be similar to how you can add locations to your "Favorites" in Windows Explorer.

I understand your question, but unfortunately the answer is no.  The file dialog that appears is custom for SAS Enterprise Guide (as it adds the ability to reach remote SAS servers and their file systems), and is not extensible to reach custom local places the way that Windows Explorer is.

Something that might help: the recent Project and Programs on the File menu.  I use these all of the time to go back to the projects that I've recently worked with.  You can increase the "memory" of how many files appear here with Tools->Options, General tab, "Recent Files" option.

You could always create Shortcuts to your locations on your desktop.

Or you can always share a folder with yourself and create a drive for that to make the access even more easy.
