Hi everyone,

I passed my Predictive modeller (SAS EM 13.1) exam  about 6 months ago, and have managed to get into a data science role. I never really understood how ensemble models fit into the process flow in SAS EM. Which of the two obtions describe how they fit in the process flow:

a. The ensemble model note comes before the models, and then connects to the various models. e.g Ensemble model>>>>>>Linear Regression model

b. The ensemble model comes after the models, in a similar manner to the model comparison node. e.g Models>>>>>ensemble model

Your response will be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Paul

b - you connect multiple modeling nodes to an Ensemble node similar to Model Comparison.

See this paper for some examples: https://support.sas.com/resources/papers/proceedings14/SAS133-2014.pdf

And this paper and post for more advanced ensemble models:

Hi Wendy,

Thanks for the papers. They all look like easy reads.

Thanks
