SAS Eminer 14 input node 'Refresh Metadata'

Hi All, I am using SAS enterprise miner 14.3 . I have a data source on enterprise miner  imported from  an oracle table.After running some models I went back to oracle and changed the values of column A. If I use 'refresh metadata' option on the data source in Eminer   the values for column A gets updated? Does refreshing metadata update only column properties or the values itself in EMINER data sources?

I figured it out. It updates values as well as column details.

So the values in Column A are updated as well.
