SAS BI and DI

Hi everyone,

Can anyone please suggest how to connect to SAS Metadata Server from itconfig.exe? Also, what this .exe file supposed to do? I want to start using SAS DI Studio and SAS Web Repo Sguidon but do not know how I can use this. Is there a file in SAS Shared files which serves this purpose?

If you want to use DI Studio you need to install that application on your local machine, it's not itconfig.exe.

WebReportStudio is installed in a SAS BI server deployment on the web application server. If you have the authorization to access that, contact your SAS server admin for connection details (accessed via a standard web browser).

Thank you for the prompt reply. But what application are you talking about in respect of the DI Studio?

Hi Siddharth123,

itconfig.exe is the application which run on windows OS and its use to test the connection with sever with regards to SAS. This application come with the SAS installation packages.
