If there is a population and an optimal sample size is to be obtained using a fitness value, how does one work on it using Genetic Algotrithm? Can anyone give some alike example, except the usual four examples available in the sasuser's guide, thank you in advance

The only literature we have for PROC GA is the documentation.  There are other SAS procedures that can compute sample size for specific simple scenarios, but it is not clear these would be applicable to your situation.  If you could be more specific about how you hope to incorporate fitness information into determining your sample and provide some more description of the data you have available (or which you hope to access), we might be able to provide more information.

Cordially,

Doug
